Library Research Databases

The Guarini Library subscribes to over 100 different databases that contain excellent sources of information for use in research papers.

 

Library research databases contain:

  • Peer reviewed and scholarly journal articles
  • ​Articles from newspapers, magazines
  • ​Books, e-books, book chapters, and encyclopedia articles

Steps to Access the Library's Databases

  1. Go to the Guarini Library Home Page
  2. Click on the link to Databases by Title
  3. Select a database such as:
  4. Enter one or two keywords on your topic and click the Search button.
  5. Evaluate your results by reading the citation's abstract and subject headings.
  6. Print, download, or email the fulltext of the most relevant articles.
